We are now 22 days into the new year and thought it would be a good time to update you all on a few things that have happened and a few things that will be happening soon! How exciting!
First our debut album for 12k, “Ballads Of The Research Department” has been available for the past couple of weeks now. Two years in the making no less! Featuring the lovely Danny Norbury, heavenly vocals from Cuushe and the earthly tones of Chris Stewart. Copies are available from boomkat and the usual places.
Craig under his Humble Bee guise has put together a cornucopia of audio and visual treats together from his holiday in Cornwall. It is part of the wonderful Fluid Radio’s Underexposed series. Tune in here.
Andrew’s Tape Loop Orchestra and Danny Norbury have handed in their book reports to the Wist Rec series. Danny interprets Angela Carter’s Bluebeard while the Tape Loop Orchestra tackle Raymond Chandler’s Killer In The Rain. Both will be available from 29th February.
Two special shows have been booked for February 23rd and 24th. Both shows are taking place in the Cultuurcentrum Mechelen Belgium as part of the Slaapwel label nights. Also Playing is Peter Broderick! These will be exciting shows!
