New Things
We seem to be going release mad this year! Which we hope is good news to you all. First up are the two Wist Rec book reports from Danny Norbury and Tape Loop Orchestra, copies are still available here, there are still a handful of copies left of The Humble Bee report too!
The Boats have released a new limited EP as part of the Rivers Home Series via Flaming Pines. Copies are available here. The EP is a study of the river Calder, which runs through the boats spiritual home of Burnley.
Andrew was interviewed on the eve of the Slaapwel label sleep over for Resonance FM show Arctic Circle. Why not have a listen.
Tape Loop Orchestra return with a new album this April. Following on from last years limited ‘Maybe I Told A Small Lie’. The new double album features a collection of tape loop experiments (“The Word On My Lips Is Your Name”) and an extended composition (“The Burnley Brass Band Plays On In My Heart”). More info on this limited release soon.
Also in preparation is the third and final part of the Ballads series of releases. This will first be available via the merchandise table on our upcoming tour of Japan (details soon) with a limited quantity going out to shops on our return home.
Kind Regards
The Boats
