It is with great delight that we can announce not one but two upcoming boats releases! We have teamed up again with the wonderful Flau records of Tokyo to release a new edition of the out of print ‘Our Small Ideas’ album from 2008. The updated 2012 version includes 7 bonus selections and will be available from June 7th.
The second release is the third and final part of our ballads trilogy. ‘Ballads of the Darkroom’ is a collection of alternate versions, remixes and outtakes from the ‘Ballads of the Research Department’ sessions. The collection offers a glimpse into an alternate universe view of what ‘Research Department’ could have been. These will be initially available on our upcoming tour dates in June (Andrew will have copies at the Tape Loop Orchestra shows too). Copies will be available in July through the usual places.
Danny Norbury fans will be thrilled to hear of the second album by Kinder Scout, which also features Home Normal head honcho and all round good chap Ian Hawgood and Offthesky’s Jason Corder. ‘The Curio Collection’ is released via Home Normal and you can learn more of the album and purchase a copy here.
